TRIAL WITHOUT A JURY...WELCOME TO SECOND LIFE


MYST1QUE NIGHTFIRE IS INNOCENT

It seems this whole months articles are going to be based around the phrases 'saying something enough times will not make it so' and the other one, 'just because someone says it, doesn't make it real'. I myself have been a victim of a few hate campaigns, but I am still shocked and saddened at the amount of sensible professional people that jump on the sl rumour bandwagon. Then they spread rumours all around the grid, without at first reading or researching what they have been told. I bet there was someone reading chat today, who would probably be one of the first people to jump up and down in a hissy fit over stuff we would write in here, and yet they were adding this innocent person to a ban list because...... well just because.



Today I saw this spammed to me in a group chat and this wasn't the only one I saw either

I would like to let you know that there is a person out there named Myst1que Nightfire that has been going from sim to sim dropping a prim with a script inside of it that removes the inventory of everyone else in the sim. Shop owners, Landowners and Visitors alike beware. Ban this person from your parcel immediately, as she is unable to interact with anything inside ban lines. Please pass this to your friends and family so that she cannot get to any of them either. I wish you a good day, thank you.



My first thought was, there is no such script. I ain't no scripter, but I ain't dumb. The second was to find out, who was this person ,that is being accused of this highly elaborate crime. This person was well on their way to being banned from just about every sim in Second Life, because of this IM. So I decided to go and see her, as her profile stated she had done nothing.

Myst1que Nightfire is just a normal woman, who happens to own a night club called Charmed. She knew about the shocking rumour that was spreading the grid, She explained it was because the guy who lives next door to her parcel wants her club closed because its causing lag for him and he hates her with a passion.
I went myself to check him out and found he is a bit of a dick. Trust me on this, I have puked my way through his profile.
Its reads like a teenager wrote it, as he claims to be 'The Dominant Alpha Male' and says hes 'intelligent'. He has various retarded statements plastered all over his profile but instead of making him look cool, it just makes him look 15. I'm am sure it wont be long till he comes threatening me over this article. I cant wait but boys in their bedrooms with pixelated whores on leashes have never scared me much.

I am sure everyone is wondering why his name isn't here, because it isn't like me not to name and shame. Well, The Lab will probably get to him before I do, so ill let them sort it.

So that's it basically, this guy done this to harass Myst1que so she would be shamed all over the rid and leave her business. Please remove her from the ban list and pass this around.
