CONTENT THIEVES CAUGHT IN THE ACT IN REDGRAVE SKIN DEPARTMENT

Here at SLIWT have become well known for our name and shame campaign on the people who steal and pillage on the grid. Today I was shocked and humbled at how well known we had become. This afternoon I was hit with a few IMs from strangers/SLIWT readers who were shopping at the Redgrave store.

I was happy to take a teleport right into the middle of the Redgrave Skins Department. A few avatars were blatantly messaging Redgrave shoppers and offering knock off Redgrave skins at knock down prices. Below is the notecard that was being given out by the thieves.

My few IMs turned into lots and lots of IM. People started to send me note cards of the convos they had with these content thieves. Here is one of them just so you can add her trashy ass to your ban list.

You will notice I removed the names of those helpful avatars who sent me the notecards. Some would say it is a bit silly because its not as if the skin thief can file a report on a privacy violation. Then again, I have saw stranger things than that happen, so we will just keep all innocent people under the SLIWT witness protection programme.

Ok before I go on, In the middle of today's mayhem I got girls asking me where I got my shoes. I got them at AOHARU. I went on a little shop-a-rama last week and the owner Machang Pichot was one of the most gracious and helpful designers I have ever met in my SLife and I have met a lot of them. Her stuff is no transfer but she was very happy to send a present to someone for me.

Ok where was I, oh yeah Redgrave. I am known for being a bit confrontational so I took the liberty of telling Chocolate, who was still IMing people, that she was busted but she didn't reply and soon disappeared.

Below is another example of the convos going on at Redgrave today. Feel free to add this asshole to a ban list near you. If it wasn't bad enough that they had copybotted Michael Jackson this one even claims to have copybotted Beyonce!

I was powerless to stop these people, so I tp’d in a few fun friends and just done a few loud announcements warning the shoppers in the store not to buy the stolen skins. Thanks to all those who LOL'd in private IM, to the person who told us we rawk'd and to the man who told me I was amazing. Sorry though hun,I am taken.

I'd like to urge people to keep helping us in the war against Content theft. You keep giving us the tip off's and we will keep doing what we do.
