Recently, I have been informed of a situation that occured at the SecondLife 6th Birthday event, in which pictures from various individuals were taken from their Flickr accounts by another individual and offered for sale. To my understanding, this is not permitted. At the press preview event, which was this past Monday, we were informed that the SL6B was to be a free event, so the selling of items was to be prohibited. We were told that it is OK to offer items for sale at L$0, making them "free" or a "gift." We were also instructed that if we found any items that were offered for sale at a profit, then to please contact a member of the SL6B committee.

This is the portion of my chat log from the press preview that stated this information:
