This past weekend marked the official start of the spring season for those of you in the northern hemisphere who actually have 4 seasons. It also saw two parties, where SL's fashionistas got together and did some booty shaking.
Before I get into that stuff, let's get something out of the way first. Willilicious Georgette wants me to make sure that I let everyone know that Jason Feingold is unable to accept the fact that HE'S A BANNED BITCH who just needs to stay dead and get a real life. Apparently, he has a blog now, and has posted a fake interview between him and Maggie Mahoney, using the most recent post that Maggie has put on the RUNWAY SL blog. First of all, Jason, you're dead. Jesus Christ may have actually risen from the dead during easter, but you are not Jesus Christ, so keep your banned ass in the grave where it belongs. Second of all, anyone can read the RUNWAY SL blog and see that Jason copied Maggie's post and rewrote it into an interview--talk about needing to get a life; who has time for this??? Third of all, Jason, since you haven't heard because YOU'RE A BANNED BITCH, the whole RUNWAY SL thing is OVER--it's soooo 19 hours ago. There is already a fresh and hot new scandal on the grid, but your banned ass doesn't know about it because you are gridkill. If your ass wasn't a banned bitch, you might know this, but because you are not the product of immaculate conception, your ass won't be rising from the dead. Too bad, so sad.
OK now that that is out of the way--Jason Feingold was an unknown low-grade DJ and Ammon Pera's number one buttsucker, for those of you (meaning just about everyone) who didn't know--let's get on to what we unbanned avatars did.
Happy rezday to Kurvy Rhode. Our little Miss Ebony SL slelebrated her special day in grand style. DJ Azu provided the jams, and the very elegant Casablanca Hotel Ballroom provided the venue. This was a smaller, more intimate affair, with an A-List crowd. Kurvy's daughter Amara was also there, so I was instructed to "keep it PG." Needless to say, this proved a daunting task for me, so I was vewy quiet. I went, I took a pic, I blogged her ass.
From left to right, supermodel Mui Mukerji shakes her thang with rezday gurl Kurvy Rhode and Rose Seoung. I have no idea why Kurvy was so excited to see me, but she looked like this the whole entire time I was there. I also checked out the ban list of the parcel, which is something I usually do where ever I go, and wondered why Belle LeFavre was one of the two names on the list.
This past weekend also saw the real life Costa Rican national holiday known as Juan Santamaria Day. Thanks to Jac Mornington, who took it upon himself to educate my ignorant ass DURING the party, I now know that this special holiday is the day that some army dood chased the aristocratic types into a brothel, and then burned it down, thus starting the tradition of hookers hooking on the corner because they were homeless bitches. It's also Costa Rica's equivalent of our (here in the States) Independence Day, so a big party was in order.
Costa Rica Ladies' Society CEO Gigimarie Franizzi just happened to know that the amazing SLculptor (is it possible to actually pronounce "slc" with the human mouth???) Ub Yifu has a Juan Santamaria statue, which provided the perfect centerpiece for the party. Like most social climbing bitches, I made sure my ass was close enough to Ub for a photo-op--user interface shot, of course. He wore his fab Picasso Don Quixote getup, and was actually friendly and down to earth, which is kind of unusual for like really really famous people. He hung out for most of the party, and made a polite exit. He also set up some of his other works around the park, so make sure you go see his stuff if you want to see what really good sculpture in SL looks like--but you will have to go to his studio to see them because they aren't at the park anymore. This is actually my second pic with Ub--I snuck another one of me standing next to him at the opening of the Evolutions museum a year or two ago, but I can't find that pic. :(
Out of all the parties that Azu and his lovely azistant, Sienna Dawes, attend, they probably don't get blogged very often, so I thought I would make an effort to change that. Here are the latino studcake Azu Catteneo and his lovely azistant Sienna Dawes being blogged. Azu provided the awesome music for the party (duh), and Sienna made sure everyone was having a good time.
