Who should have been sent home from this one was Caleb Ametza and Kairi Zamani. Apparently they were also friends with Raine and El Gangsterio. They would not stop talking during the show. I am all for heckling the models and making comments during the show to add a sense of fun and silliness to the atmosphere, but if you are going to carry on a conversation with your friend, a conversation that has no relevance to anyone else around you, and making comments about how you were bored and didn't know what you were doing there, please use the IM. If I had the power, your asses would have been so incredibly out of there, no questions asked.
OK, back to the weekend's events. There was no afterparty at KMADD, probably because of the Modavia event. Dea Mills hosted a party at The Kensington, which also featured a fashion show. The party was packed with some of SL's most beautiful women, and I was thinking it was probably a great place for a single, straight guy to make some connections. It wasn't a single's mixer, though, and part of the draw was the fact that two winners were going away with the entire wardrobe collection featured in the Modavia Directory. Congrats to Chanti Shippe and Sommes Discovolante on taking home the prizes. I'm pretty sure Sommes was one of the winners, but Nat was on the IM telling me that someone there and her are very "scratch scratch meow hiss" with each other--I know, what a surprise--so I may have my facts wrong. I'm sure the correct winners are listed someplace else, and I'm not a fashion writer, so onto the next thing.
As Saturday came winding down, it was time to TP over to celebrate the rezday of Hollee Zhora, which was held at her Casa De Amigos, which she shares with her RL hubby, Aspen Parx. They have a beautiful and elegant home, and the first part of the evening saw us in black tie, being serenaded by the very talented Louis Volare--and no, he never sings "Volare", so quit with the "Volare" jokes already.

The rezday girl and her man, looking muy elegante. After the Volare performance, Miss Zhora and the rest of us stripped down to bare minimums, and shook our bedonka donks to DJ Azu.
Sunday was the Designer's Showcase at KMADD City at 9 A.M., which was followed by the anniversary party at noon. Knowing what a daymare it was to get into the sim for the FTV show the day before, I figured I better get there early. I logged in and TP'd over to KMADD City, and then put my avatar to sleep on the grass while I went for my morning RL ride.
After I had returned from my ride--and that is a one-lap bicycle ride around downtown Orlando, hauling ass--I got back to the PC to find Kirk, Maddox, and Devine Hunt standing over me. I hope nobody ever needs 911 while in KMADD City, because it's going to take a while. They seemed to be having a good time making fun of me for passing out in the grass, and Maddox was especially tickled to have the opportunity to repay me for all the Ruth pics I've taken of him in the past.

Since I missed the Friday festivities in KMADD City, I figured I had better go see the art exhibit while I had the chance. If you haven't been yet, you need to GO GO GO. The artist is Four Yip, and the art is pretty amazing. Some of the pieces are interactive--they have poses in them, so when you sit on them you become a part of it.
While in the gallery posing in one of the pieces, I had the pleasure of meeting the very charming Queen Coronet. She was in the attire that is given away for free by Four Yip, so that you can become part of the art. At first I thought she might have been Four Yip's alt. She explained that she wasn't her alt, and was just a fan/slash/groupie. She had went through several wardrobe changes in the time we were talking, and I remarked that I admired her for being able to just change clothes right there in front of me on the street and everything, thus her comment about the phone booth. She also said she had no idea who Kirk and Maddox were, and had never even seen a MADesigns store. Scripts are disabled in this sim, thus her AO wouldn't work, and she was stuck in this pose the whole time.
The time for the event everyone was waiting for finally arrived, and I made sure I wasn't late this time. This was the anniversary party for KMADD City, and the theme was "Boogie Nights", as in the movie. We had been instructed that the dress code was 70's/80's porn star, and we were to wear a hover text to display our porn names.
Unfortunately, this was a crashathon for me. As soon as things would finally start to get fully rezzed, I ended up crashing again. I've been to a lot of the KMADD parties, and I think most people would agree that this had to be like the funnest one ever. Great job, guys.
As the weekend drew to a close, we headed over to celebrate the rezday of Madison Canetti. It was held at Xochi Tolsen's place, and it was a pool party. The totally awesome pool was built by a complete and total bitch that I don't know (OK that's only half true--I do know myself), and Meredith Freund DJ'd the soiree. Kromus didn't really have time to DJ this one, what with keeping Xochi entertained and cybering me in voice IM at the same time.
Like the mysterious "lone gunman" theory of the Kennedy assasination, this sperm seemed to be unable to come from either of the shooters. Boe Cortes and rezday girl Madison seemed to be enjoying themselves by sharing their DNA tadpoles with the party goers. If anyone is pregnant after this party, the father might be Boe, Madison, or both.
As the party wore on, the clothes came off. While photoshopping the pics I was surprised to discover virtual gold--proof that Miss Tolsen herself is the purveyor of decadence. I would like to thank the allegedly heterosexual Kromus for sending me the sexy sheer G-string, with the boy bits drawn in, for me to wear at the party. The folder included the landmark to the store he bought it from, which was the Vitamen store in Boystown. I'm so glad he did this, now we don't have to question his sexuality any longer, especially since Xochi's porn name was Chloe Rimmer, and she had IM'd me a day or two before to tell me about her exciting new find--prim anuses.
