OH THEY DIDN'T.........OH THEY SO TOTALLY DID!
If there is one thing I cant stand in sl it has to be people who assume they are more intelligent that everyone else and they think no one will notice and wont cringe at their behaviour. During the last few weeks I have a saw a lot of this, especially in business circles. Last Saturday I was invited by Xander Newman to come talk at Vio, about the media industry in sl. I am not really one for the serious side of this business, although I seem to be good at getting the attention but I don't make it my goal in my sl, I am here for the laughs.
Anyway I was surprised to see Carter (I never could get the surname right, so I wont bother) there promoting his new magazine. He went first to do his talk and it was short and sweet but very much geared towards selling advertising and not very informative. After he had his turn I was shocked and couldn't help LOL cause he made his apologises to the audience and left. I know for a fact that there was a few shocked business owners in the audience, so for anyone who heard my speech here's another tip for good business ......don't treat your potential customers like airheads and at least have the decency to listen to other people, you should have stayed Carter you might have learned something.
Two days later I saw a group notice from Carter posted on the Vio group. It actually confirmed why he had showed up and it was to sell adverts. He was offering a special rate to business owners who are members of Vio. Perhaps he thinks all those people are stupid, yet he gave me a laugh.
Well apart from that, sl seems to have got very sneaky and I am being inundated with scandals and dramas and I think it is awesome. I was so pleased that other papers in sl are doing the scandals now. I am the alpha diva, the original drama mama but its good not to be the only hated journalist now in sl.
Speaking of being hated, I had a bit of a run in with female this week. She is a financial dominatrix which is someone who is paid to make others feel like shit. Basically what I do, only I don't get paid and I don't get a sexual kick from it. I got her name dropped on me while I was investigating something else in sl and I called her up. She was just like I was told she would be and she tried her best to dominate me but it didn't happen. She went mental, freaked out and threatened me with an abuse report, said she "Knew" people (don't we all, lol) and that I could look forward to having my account closed-lol and people pay her to get dominated, brill love, don't make the dominatrix thing a full time money spinner.
Anyway she made my day cause the last thing she said to me was "your muted", which to a fighting female means "OK YOU WIN". I know she might be reading this and I want her to know I haven't forgotten about our little chat and her "extra curricular" activities, its just at the moment I have bigger fish to fry.
I am still single in sl yet I have enjoyed some brill times with a certain male fashion designer, so who knows what will happen, I suppose it all depends on whether certain people in sl don't sway his judgement of me.
Rawly has turned into a work- a- holic. Well, more of a work- a- holic than he was already. I still regularly drop on top of his head with my tantrums and shopping bags. He is a fabulous builder and in all his work he puts his heart and soul, but I am selfish sometimes because I do miss his fun.
Nubis got busted a week after the disaster wedding. While he was begging forgiveness and asking me to elope, I was busy trying to find out who he had been cheating on me with. It didn't take me long and he has hooked up a Miss Red silk Restricted-how very dejavu. I bet y'all didn't think that was gonna happen.(/ME YAWNS) He swore blind he wasn't cheating on me, no in fact he didn't, he sent her to tell me because his balls fell off.
Fnertin, my ex husband is still in my sl. He can be a bit of a dramatica at times and he threw his pen down a while back and walked out of the paper because I was going to edit his column. Fnertin is a gorean man, as you all know and he doesn't like being told what to do. Apart from that he is a funny guy and I know he loves me to death.The last loving thing he said to me was "Are you dating Lindsay Lohan?" then he logged out. I think this might have been his way at having a stab at our absent, sl marital, sex life or my supposed male-domination-take-over-the-world thing he likes to recite on a regular basis. Its ok Fnertin, ya dont have to say ya love me, I know.
I have to go now and get ready for the Kmadd show,who knows what will happen tonight see y'all soon.
