BEST OF SL CEO ACCUSED OF NOT PAYING UP PRIZE IN MISS SL UNIVERSE CONTEST
I am sure you all remember, the hype that surrounded the Miss sl Universe contest, that took place earlier this year. It was owned and operated by Frolic Mills, CEO of The Best of Sl magazine. It was to be a contest like no other, with a spectacular prize package.
I first heard of the contest, when I saw an advert Mr Mills had placed in this paper- It was swiftly removed. I found out, that because he knew I would be attending, to make sure he was playing fair, he banned me from the event, in fact he banned my whole family.
This was highly scandalous at the time, because I was judging heats for the contest, over in Costa Rica.
This week, Miss Sl Universe, Babyhoney Bailey, handed back her crown. I knew something bad had gone wrong because she is a very nice person and is known for her honesty and integrity.
I went and asked her earlier this week what had happened and she declined to comment at the time, but I already knew.
Babyhoney Bailey was recently interviewed by Aspire Magazine and has stated the scandalous truth, that she did not receive all of the prizes she was promised-Part of that was $87kL monetary package.
Miss Bailey stated to Mr Mills in April, that she would go to the press, if she didn't receive the 30k lump sum prize she was promised. He reluctantly handed over the 30k. However admiral this might seem, it was late by 2 months and there was the other matter of the 1k a week prize, for the whole time that the crown was worn.
At the time of the contest Mr Mills publicly announced the prizes and a list of sponsors for the event, They were and I quote from my inworld advertisement, published at the time:
Sponsors of this year's pageant are Abacus Mimistrobell, Alliez Mysterio, Callie Cline, Carter Giacobini, Celebrety Trollop, Giancarlo Tacaks , janine Debevec, Kirk Claymore, Melanie Zhao, Naiman Broome, Nicky Ree, Nyla Cheeky, Patch Thibaud, Raven Pennyfeather, Rebel Hope, and Sky Everett.
Mr Mills appears to have used the above names, to promise prizes, even though some of them had no idea. Or did some of these fabulous names, give over money, thinking it would go towards the prize package?
There was also a lot of confusion at the time of the winner being announced. I received an announcement, that someone called Elise Allen had won the contest. Then about 15 Min's later I heard she hadn't, that a mistake had been made. Hmmmmm
While investigating the reasons for this, I was told that this Person was absent from sl at the time-yet I was baffled as to how she won a contest without being present.
I tried to contact Mr Mills for comment but he declined. Well, He didn't so much decline, its just that I am muted.
