INVOGUE HOMMES COMPETITION

INVOGUE HOMMES MAGAZINE COMP SCANDAL.......OR NOT?
I was asked to go have a look, at the new Invogues Hommes magazine competition. I had been inundated with IM about the rules and regulations of this competition, so as I was part of it and my picture was on the wall, I figured I better go and see what all the fuss was about.
The IM 's I was receiving where all based around the same thing and the same question was put before me "Where does all the money go?". Well, I was a bit baffled as I hadn't really read the rules, but on arrival at the competition headquarters I soon worked out that it was a pay to vote system.
Basically, 1 vote cost $1l, 100 votes cost $100l and so on. The more Lindens you get your friends to spend, the more votes your gonna get. It was at this point, that I had my name and picture removed from the competition, as it was soon apparent to me that the IM I had been receiving, telling me to investigate this competition and the regulations of it, was not fabricated drama, some people might have had a point.
I was also very shocked to find out that not only can your friends vote for you, but you can pay to vote for yourself.
I spent a few moments scanning the boards and while I may not be brill at the grammar and the commas associated with writing, I am good at counting, without the help of electrical counting aids and I can do it quickly.
The IM I had received from various people, had told me to just do a rough count, but I done a bit more than that. I counted that a grand total of $109,617 had been spent voting in this competition.
With a Prize of $75,000 that meant that $34,617 was still to be accounted for. Then I was informed that this competition had only been running for four days and was to run for another month.
Again, I done a bit of counting and worked out that if $109,617 could be made in 4 days, and if the voting carried on for another 26 days then the total monies spent voting would reach $822,127. That's a lot of money and with a prize of $75,000 that means that the end profit would be $747,127, so what was going to happen to the profit?
My head was spinning, so I thought rather than listen to the sl rumour mill, I was going straight to the man who was responsible for the competition, Ammon Pera.
Ammon expressed to me, that he knew the rumour mill would be turning and that people would talk. I told him of the figures I had worked out and asked him what was to be done with the profit from this competition. Ammon said it was to be a big wonderful surprise and that we would have to wait and see. At the end of the competition we would see what would be done. I begged him to tell me, but he wouldn't, yet I could sense his confidence and I am quite sure its gonna be good.
